Acceptance of These Terms

The Site is a personal landing page that introduces Tim G and links to projects, profiles, and other resources. It is provided for personal, non-commercial informational use.

I may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on the Site. The “Last updated” date will indicate when revisions were made. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those Terms.

Site Content and Ownership

Unless otherwise noted, text, design, layout, graphics, icons, and other materials on the Site (collectively, “Content”) are owned by Tim G or used with permission, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and temporarily store Content for your personal, non-commercial use. Unless a particular item is marked otherwise, the Site’s Content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). That license permits sharing the unchanged Content for non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution; it does not permit distributing adapted material. These permissions do not limit uses allowed by law, including applicable exceptions and limitations such as fair use.

Names, marks, and branding of third parties that appear via links or references remain the property of their respective owners. The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by third parties unless expressly stated.

Site code (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) is licensed separately under the MIT License; see the LICENSE file in the repository. Photographs, video, and other media (including files under /assets/, the social preview image, and the favicon) are licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 as described above; see LICENSE-CONTENT.md. Third-party materials, trademarks, and other items identified as belonging to someone else are not granted under either license. The CC BY-NC-ND license summary is available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/.

Tim G's name, photographs, and likeness appear on this Site for identification purposes only. Nothing in this Site or its licenses grants permission to use them to suggest endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation, or in any way that implies impersonation.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or unreasonably interfere with their use of the Site.

You may not: attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems or networks; probe or test vulnerabilities without express permission; interfere with the Site’s operation; use automated means to scrape or harvest Content in a way that imposes an unreasonable load or circumvents access controls; transmit malware; or use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, repositories, social platforms, or projects (for example GitHub, Instagram, or featured project pages). Those destinations are not controlled by me. I am not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which describes how preferences and contact information are handled. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

No Accounts or Purchases

The Site does not require an account and does not offer purchases through this page. Any future features with additional terms will be disclosed when introduced.

Disclaimers

The Site and Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

I do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Information on the Site may change without notice and may not always be complete or current.

You assume responsibility for your use of the Site and any linked sites. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tim G is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or Content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the State of California, unless mandatory laws in your location provide otherwise.

Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tim G regarding the Site and supersede prior understandings on that subject.

Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
